Hey You
I’ve always been curious. And by curious, I mean hopelessly, joyfully, lifelong-ingly curious.
Learning isn’t something I do when I have time—it’s something I can’t stop doing. I’m constantly wandering down rabbit holes that range from language to opera, birds to herbs and flowers, and any other subject that piques my interest. If it’s unknown or obscure, spiritually symbolic, historical, or in any way slightly impractical for daily survival, chances are I’m interested. Knowing a little about a lot makes conversations far more interesting to me!
Somewhere In Between
If I had to label myself (which I resist, but here we are), I’d say I’m a cross between a bohemian and a Renaissance person.
I value beauty (shapes, sizes, colors, lines, design, etc.), nuance (hello double entendre), good conversation, and being very-well-informed—not to impress, but because it makes life richer. I like knowing just enough about many things to hold meaningful dialogue, ask cool questions, and recognize patterns where others might not (I really like simplifying ideas to “real-world” scenarios!).
I try to live my life like a bohemian—just outside the fringes of ‘polite’ society (whatever that means by today’s standards) and others' expectations. I no longer do well or tolerate boxes, rigid roles, or “this is how it’s supposed to be done.” I enjoy being unexpected! And traveling in circles of interest that make me happy, even if they look a little unconventional or unexpected from the outside.
The Gifts Were Always There
I Just Needed the Memo
My intuitive and spiritual gifts have been lifelong—though for many years, I didn’t fully understand them. It wasn’t until the last decade that I truly began to see myself differently. As I learned about myself and allowed myself to transform into who I really am, everything began to make more sense. Being my authentic self also means embracing my abilities, letting others see me for who I really am, and not minimizing or tyring to hide myself.
Turns out, nothing was “new.” I was just finally listening.
I don’t believe our gifts suddenly appear. I believe we grow into the courage to recognize them.
How This Shows Up in My Work
Because of the way I learn, my work as a Spiritual Alchemist is uniquely my own.
I don’t approach sessions from a rigid system or one-size-fits-all method. I allow messages to flow through me from any source without trying to understand what they mean (that’s not my job!). I bring respect for the seen and unseen. I like nuance over certainty, and suggest understanding over answers.
Also, I believe spirituality doesn’t have to be heavy to be meaningful. Sometimes insight or conversation with your team arrives quietly. Sometimes it arrives sideways. Occasionally, it arrives with a sense of humor of its own, meeting people as they are, not as who or what they think they should be.
I bring curiosity to my own experiences instead, allowing everyone to have their own experiences, including myself!
A Little More Human Than Mystical
I’m definitely not interested in fitting into a spiritual stereotype.
I don’t like fitting into a box, and I don’t expect it from anyone else. Why would you want to be like someone else?
My experiences have shaped my lifetime of curiosity and learning, and the desire to live a little outside the lines.
If you’re drawn to thoughtful conversation, soul-level ideas, or someone who takes the work seriously, but not too seriously or if any of this resonates with you,
I’m probably the right girl for you!
