My Teaching Philosophy
We all arrive here with a deep inner knowing. It's not taken away from us, it's still inside of us.
It's not a little knowing. Not a few clues. A vast, quiet, ancient knowing that lives beneath the surface of everyday life waiting to be discovered. It's ALLLL the knowing. All that ever was. Inside of you. Now.
The 'problem', per se, is the Veil. It's not a punishment. It is not something wrong with us. It is not an unachievable "thing" meant to keep us away from all truth forever and ever. It was our choice. It's part of the experience we chose. We have to "look through it" to uncover all that knowing. To connect with our Soul. To unlock the magic!
This veil gives us the opportunity to relearn what we wanted. On purpose. By design. To discover, remember, question, explore, experience, and become. Because we wanted it that way. It allows our wisdom to shine through our experiences. To give us that "ah ha" moment we all enjoy when we connect the dots and discover ourselves just a little more.
We don't need to tear it down and get rid of it. We need to learn to use it to help create the life we came here to create. It's a tool to help us. It's a tool for our connection.
That is the heart of the Through the Veil Framework that I like to use when teaching.
As I see it, my job is not to give you the answers
My job is to help you remember what has always been yours, and is still yours. No one can 'give' you that.
I do not believe you need someone else to hand you your truth. I believe your truth already lives inside of you, waiting for the right words, the right examples, the right questions, or the right moment to help bring it back into view. My truth may not be your truth, may not be someone else's truth. Because we are all unique and different and have our own goals.
That is why I teach in a clear, grounded, real-life way. I use simple language, everyday examples, and practical explanations so you can explore spiritual ideas without feeling overwhelmed, talked down to, or asked to believe something just because someone said it in a class you took. I offer you ways to think differently, that's all. Things to question, ideas to explore.
You do not have to adopt my beliefs. But you are welcome to borrow them until you create your own. That's what we do anyway. We take someone else's beliefs that we learn through experience, faith, family or friends, and we borrow them until we change our minds.
So feel free to borrow mine. I do not mind. Borrow the idea. Try it on. Walk around in it. See how it feels in your real life. Question it. Stretch it. Set it down. Pick it back up later. Keep what resonates. Leave what does not. Call it something else. It's yours. Your beliefs should not feel like a wet suit someone handed you to wear to represent them. They should feel like something you remembered. Something you know and cherish and truly believe in your heart and in your gut. Something that's all yours! And if you borrow my belief and change it later to suit your own knowing, THEN I've done my job.
What it means to move through the Veil
Moving through the Veil is not about escaping your life. Or discovering your purpose. Or solving a big puzzle so you can get off the island or advance to the next challenge.
It's about seeing this tool that helps you make a deeper connection to your Soul. They're waiting for you to do it. They WANT you to do it! It's part of why you came. To know and understand that you HAVE forgotten but that you CAN remember if you make the right connections and do the work.
It's about using what you learned IN your life today. It is about seeing your life clearly. It is noticing the lessons, patterns, choices, relationships, questions, and experiences that have been helping you remember who you are all along.
It is learning how to trust your own knowing. It is finding words for things you have felt but could not explain. It is allowing spiritual ideas to become personal, practical, useful, and yours.
Through the Veil, we do not chase answers outside of ourselves, unlock secret codes and become part of others societies so we can "fit in". We learn how to recognize the answers already within that will help us become who WE are meant to be - our authentic selves!
In short, it means you know your Soul is there waiting for you to connect, and then making the connection.
How I use this framework in my classes
Every class I teach is built around this idea:
You know this. You just forgot. My job is not to give you the answers. My job is to help you remember what has always been yours.
That means I do not teach by asking you to memorize stuff. I guide you through a process of remembering your own way.
In each class, we explore ideas in a way that is:

Clear enough to understand

Open enough to question(s)

Practical enough to apply

Personal enough to become your own
You will hear real-world examples. You will be invited to reflect on your own experiences. You will be encouraged to put ideas into your own words. I will be a little nerdy or cheesy depending on the topic. All in an effort to help you think like yourself - not me. Because the goal is not for you to sound like me. The goal is for you to sound more like yourself.
Your Divine team will be right there with you. They will be talking to you, helping put it all into perspective to how it works or how it relates to YOU, how you are going about your spiritual path and what you are learning, or what you are interested in, or what dots YOU are connected. Again, my job is just to help you remember. YOU will be doing the remembering.
The Through the Veil Process

We name the idea and bring it to life
First, we take a spiritual concept and explain it in plain language. No unnecessary jargon. No pretending something is more complicated than it needs to be.
Then we connect the idea to everyday situations, people, relationships, choices, emotions, and experiences so it becomes easier to recognize. You'll probably even come up with your own ways to see it if I'm doing my job really well.
2. We explore our understanding and create our own
What resonates with you? What needs a little more explanation? What just needs time? You are invited to notice what feels true, what feels interesting, what feels uncomfortable, and what needs more time. It's your time, take what you need. You can take it away and think about it.
You don't have to agree with everything. You can take your time to think about it or question it. You can borrow it until you change your mind. You are meant to create beliefs that feel honest and alive inside of you.
3. You remember what was already there with the help of your Divine Team
Little by little, or maybe suddenly, the idea doesn't feel like something new. It starts feeling like something familiar, like it's 'true' and you just realized it. That's the remembering. When a sudden idea sparks in your mind and you say "Wait a minute!" and you realize how it just feels right.
Your guides are whispering in your ear HOW to relates to YOU and no one else, what your Soul wants you to remember, new ideas begin to form, thoughts come through that maybe weren't there before. You and your Soul are making connections.
Your Soul and you AGREED to this before you came. You both decided that you would need to explore this part of you to find out who you really are deep down inside of you. You didn't come here as an empty vessel waiting for someone else to fill you up with your ideas. But that's what life has been. You agreed to try to find your own way, but first you'd have to REMEMBER where you came from.
We are here to remember, experience, choose, create, and become. We don't always get that far, because "life".
The Through the Veil Framework honors that. It gives you room to learn without losing yourself. It gives you permission to question without feeling like you are doing it wrong. It gives you a way to explore spiritual ideas without fear of not being able to understand.
You are allowed to be curious. You are allowed to be unsure. You are allowed to remember in your own time. I just want to help.
Why seeing through the veil matters

You know this. You just forgot.
And when you are ready, we will look through the Veil together, not so I can tell you who you are, but so you can remember for yourself.
